THE CONFESSIONS OF A PROFESSIONAL BULLSHITTER. At times satirical and humorous, at times historical and analytical, Hansen Alexander writes with a keen eye for both detail and history in these essays and interviews. The people he describes and discusses are about as eclectic as you can fit in one book, from Trump, Nixon, Clinton, John Paul II, U.S Grant, George W. Bush, Hillary Clinton, Robert Mueller, and legendary New York Times sportswriter George Vecsey, to Lord Byron, Hemingway, John Updike, Gore Vidal, Tennessee Williams, Bill Gates, Jim Cramer, Burt Reynolds, Robert Redford, and dozens of other fascinating personalities. Yet these stories and essays are most influenced by the ironical writers Alexander adores: Geoffrey Chaucer, Jonathan Swift, Bernard Shaw, Oscar Wilde, R.K. Narayanan, and Italo Calvino. Like with all Hansen Alexander books, CONFESSIONS OF A PROFESSIONAL BULLSHITTER is all entertainment all the time.
