The book is based on the life story of Anissa. She’s a seventeen-year-old orphan, a patient of anxiety-depressive disorder, who moves to a hostel to search for a better life. Yet, her hopes are shattered when she gets bullied constantly in her new school. With each page, we see Anissa struggling with her life’s challenges, which are something with which people can easily resonate and relate. People would see their own life written down in the pages of this book, not Anissa’s life. Thus, they’d be hurried to find out what happens in the end to her, which will help them get answers to their own questions about life. Her life takes a better turn when Jaiden (the male main character) enters her life.
From Heaven and Hell, she received a special gift where she could choose three cards, which all took her back to some defining moments of her life. However, she couldn’t change anything, she was a mere observer this time. There she could see the truth, and after that, she simply kept yearning to get back her life once more, the same life which she hated all the while she was alive. . .
